Andy is a Christadelphian and member of the Tewkesbury ecclesia. Over 20 years ago he began a weekly practice of comparing newspaper headlines with scriptural content and was astounded at the accuracy of the scriptures.
He frequently found modern news events reflected in ancient biblical text, and has devoted himself to sharing these observations each week with a growing community of readers.
The Bible, Andy believes, is a book written for the days in which we live. The Weekly World Watch is his way of demonstrating that truth, one week at a time.
"I picked up the Sunday Telegraph one day and saw a headline about Jerusalem: 'The Eternal Stumbling Block.' I turned to Zechariah 12:3 and read 'I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.' The same truth, written thousands of years apart."
